its fucking great. i finally tried it out a few weeks ago after hearing about in on /v/ for years, and its pretty much all ive been playing since.

viking shit seems pretty janky after playing the base game though, idk if thats just my opinion or what. havnt tried napoleanic wars

Gekokujo is pretty much vanilla with less diversity and TLD is another game on Warband engine

Most mods work perfectly fine if you just put them in modules folder
Some of them require script extender but they usually come with it prepackaged
Few mods also come with ENB but it's really rare

Console versions are pure Vanilla versions, no mods at all. The base game is fine, but the mods make it really better.

just get it on PC, vanilla is fun but mods are where this game really shines
