Needless to say Horizon doesn't exactly boast high budget quality game when games from the PS2 era tend to have more effort put into them regarding combat, animations and general polish. It's obvious that the majority of the budget went into the marketing rather than the actual development of the game.

yeah the ps3 is pretty shit. this is my second ps3 since my phat one got the inevitable ylod. i bought the slim just to finish one game which i never ended up finishing anyway but it had it's use as a media player for the last 4 years but other than that it was a pointless console. i still remember finding out it didn't have party chat and couldn't talk to my group of friends online unless i was in the same game as them. the 360 was a less powerful console yet had this basic feature. just goes to show how shit the console really was.

depends on what you're into. if you want to play more exclusives then sure, the 360 had some great exclusives like lost odyssey, crackdown, the fable games, kameo, blue dragon etc.

if you're looking at multiplats then you should probably just stick to pc, although if there were any console exclusive games they'd have better performance on the xbox like rdr, beyonetta or vanquish. those last 2 are both on pc now though.
