The running and backstep attack of that thing is by far the dirtiest attack I've ever used, and I love it

I got both invisible rings, and among other stupid shit, the 99 str invisible powerstancing nuke is so unbelievably fun. I wish DS3 had something close to this, the only fun I had in it that came close to that combo was boss invasions (thank god they're back)

There is nothing more lame than people trying to pull off parries for their epic PvP montage by desperately throwing it out at random times trying to get lucky. Even worse if they're a tryhard faggot who wears a child mask during a fucking Anor Londo invasion. If this game ever gets a remake, they should make missed parries cause you to take 4x damage so you have to actually be skilful and read the opponent, as it is there is zero risk/reward. I always thought straight sword being really good was the point.

There's all these crazy giant and intricate weapons that you see in most fantasy games that wouldn't make any practical sense. But one of the best weapons is just a normal straight sword with no flair.

Yes it is serious, with DS1 netcode you can't react to attack animations because by the time they have started it's already too late to do a parry. You have to be predictive and parry before the attack even begins, so it actually takes MORE skill than if the connection was instant.

Unpopular opinion: DS3 is uninspired shite. DS1 still best game with best grills.

Spells tickle, force leveling up atn+faith/int meaning you lose hp, you're forced to allocate into ashen estus losing out on normal ones, and you're railroaded into using a specific set of rings if you want damage that can do something. I did a sorcerer run long ago and I hated it until I got the tinder and found some enjoyment
