Resident Evil Revelations even though a switch port is coming with Rev2 and they already have other console versions I say it's best on 3ds.

laser aiming better than that crosshair shit and I haven't played Rev2 yet. Wish they would port Mercs3d to something that could handle it better but I still enjoy it.

Mario and Luigi is an RPG and if I am going to play one on the system I'd honestly just pick whatever the absolute #1 rpg is.
I played Awakening and loved it but I got sick of Fates at the end of Birthright because I was like "I need to do this all over again at least once more" and never went back.
Dark Moon was fantastic but I do have it already.
Kart is good but I also have 8 on the WiiU which I'd rather play.
Same with Smash.
I have Donkey Kong Returns and 3D Land, and Kirby.
Layton and Phoenix are too VN heavy for me personally.

The 3DS Pokemon games have all genuinely been worse than D/P. I hate that I own all of them (ORAS I own both) and I'm not going to be bamboozled again.

Here's an image I took of my n3DS and n2DS XLs side by side. Considering that they're the same exact hardware, battery, and screens, I find the new slimmer design to be substantially more appealing in spite of the fact that it is a cheaper model, and the lack of 3D doesn't bother me at all.

Did you know that Gunman Clive has a sequel out? It's pretty good overall. Also the 2D Marios are pretty good, especially if you can get them for cheap. NSMB2 is better than people say, and Mario Maker is worth it for the Nintendo levels alone if you can get it for a decent price.

5 games since the N3DS. Most of the games I've played were frontloaded.

It's been like Majoras Mask, Mon Hun4, Robobot, Blowout Blast, Retro City Rampage, and Sega 3D Classics Collection since I bought the new model. And a JRPG here and there would be fine but they're the vast majority of the systems releases and I usually just don't spend 100 hours in one game. And historically it's been multiplayer games and action games that bring me up to that playtime.

Sleek does not exclusively mean slim, he also said "modern". The N2DS XL looks like ass compared to the N3DS XL and especially the god-tier non-XL N3DS. The top has that nasty ridge design with the gross blue/orange trim and the buttons and d-pad have the same disgusting looking baby color. Just like the original 2DS the system feels like cheap off-brand shit in your hands, it feels like you could break it in half effortlessly. XL is dogshit on all models as well, why do you want your 3DS to be too large to fit in your pocket and have the already low-res as fuck games blown up even bigger?

2DS and New 2DS XL are a fucking ripoff, why would you buy a way shittier, cheaper-feeling, uglier product to save like 30 dollars max? It isn't fucking worth it and if you can manage to track one down you can get a non-XL N3DS (the best 3DS model in existence) for cheaper than the New 2DS XL and have something that feels and looks way nicer on top of having 3D and interchangable face-plates.

Miitopia is pretty fucking good, and Ever Oasis. Im not going to list everything you can easily find, but the most recent titles have been pretty good.

The new 3ds / 2ds has more power but it only really affects load times, it doesnt make the game look better or anything.

Just don't buy a 3ds for gods sake, you will turn it on once or twice when you buy and go "Oh cool this looks like a shoebox 3d effect thing" and then you turn it off because its grating on the eyes over time, and games like monster hunter dont give a fuck about it so even if you do play it with 3d on every 10 seconds when you pick up an item you have text boxes popping up in the middle of the screen that make your eyes lose focus and the 3d effect dispersal for a couple of seconds until your eyes refocus... and that happens every time you pick up an item or have quest progression.

The 3d is a gimmick which is never used for anything of significance, go get a 2ds for cheaper which does the same thing

I use the 3d on max for every game that has it, which is most of them, including monster hunter. It's very interesting how people who dislike it sound so angry about it and talk as if their opinion is the truth instead of saying "particularly I don't like it".

I'd love to upgrade my o3DSxl but I prefer the cartridge, sd card and stylus placement on my model over the New 3DS ones.

I'll never understand the 3D hate. It looks cool and makes the games look better to me because things like jaggies are less noticeable in 3D and everything pops more which helps individual objects stand out more among the muddy textures. It doesn't hurt my head at all and with the head tracking on N3DS the main flaw in it is eliminated. I think that in a decade or two the 3DS is going to be a beloved "retro" handheld that will always stand out for it's 3D gimmick.
