it was a pretty wild fucking ride with a lot of flaws that fucked it up, better gamesense could've made it good, eg. health packs instead of regenerating health, less black sun fuckery (after a while, it gets extremely easy to upkeep and there's no point in getting out of the bluezone), more enemies, replayable levels and highscores, more/expensiver upgrades, maybe a couple of new guns, enviromental traps beyond the first level where you obtain the medallion forcing you to use slow motion... just so haphazardly created, wish they gave more thought about what they've already made and integrated those better.

also more bossfights would've been nice

Played it about a month ago after marathoning other Wolfenstein games.

It might be because I played it straight after RtCW, but I thought it was a shitty game overall that tonally was weird as fuck with the alternate-dimension stuff. The gunplay was more of a CoD game, and the hub world was unecessary. It honestly even looked and sounded worse then RtCW, which is amazing for a game that came out 8 years later. I also thought the superpower thing was pretty meh overall, and made the game too easy most of the time.
