I'd like to note that if we're going by the timeline, the Link from Zelda 1 has basically gone through the nightmare, worst possible scenario of Gannon WINNING and still being able to overcome and defeat him.

That brings up that the REAL question is what "strongest" means. Because it can easily just mean who has the most and best toys/weaponry/magical items. In which case OoT/Majora's Mask Link might have that covered.

BotW Link's probably the most superhuman in a way that matters. He can backflip over a sword slash and before they've finished that one missed swing he closes 20+ yards and slashes 7 times.

Add in all the magic he gains and his equipment and he's just easily the best. But even given a random stick and nothing else, against other Links given the same, he'd beat them fucking silly.
