Different people have different criteria. CS:GO is an FPS I take seriously, and in contrast COD and BF serves as shooters I don't take seriously. I enjoy CS:GO's deeper movement, shooting and communication, but when I play COD and BF I'm not looking for that. World at War is my favourite COD. it originated as a mod called Battle Royale in Arma.
another different mod in Arma was DayZ, which eventually spawned its own standalone game.
DayZ was a zombie apocalypse survival game. Battle Royale was a 'last man standing' style game, essentially an FFA deathmatch with permadeath.
Rust is a pretty generic semi-MMO multiplayer survival shooter with extensive base building and crafting.
and minecraft is minecraft.

the only similarity between all of them is the goal is survival, as in "dont get killed". beyond that, the games have vastly differnet premises, goals and gameplay.

I haven't really played DayZ since Arma III came out.

There are so many versions of the same game which one is the best one to play? Modded DayZ is full of servers where they give you everything. I prefer the hobo stage because after that it just turns into boring PvP.
