Semi-unrelated but do you guys remember during the PS2/Xbox/GC generation we already considered the 8/16-bit era already classics? That's like around a 10-year stretch.

I played the first Medal of Honor. Its campaign was incredibly short and filled with boring set pieces. Its multiplayer was a poor CoD imitation as well. It really wasn't very good

Not even remotely, especially if MoH is the topic. The enemy AI is vastly superior to anything MoH did as far as single player goes, and the multiplayer had vastly superior map design and weapon variety. Halo kept arena sensibilities from games like Quake and UT while MoH/CoD were much slower to play, and generally have lower skill ceilings.

This is true. At best all they did implement was vehicles to fly and use which actually was in Battlefield on PC back in the day. It's nothing that is new to me. Except the fact it was a sci Fi fps and had health regeneration. It's nothing that notable.
