On that note I just had my first in-game question and earned an AP for the blond girl saving my ass.

How does this deeply does this question-answering aspect influence my AP gains?

The questions seem to be very random in terms of what they're about and what information I've been presented with in the game so far. Are all the questions just random tidbits of lore, or will I actually be able to answer them if I just pay attention during the story? Certainly didn't seem like it with the first one...

I'm hesitant just to bring up a cheat-sheet, but I want those AP, and I don't like having to play a little guessing-game for them.

had this for Vita, it felt like generic JRPG trash.

I got pretty far in and just dropped it after you go to the giant military base and you fight those 2 or so bosses (pirate girl/guy) at the end. Combat was pretty fun and the class/skill gem setup interface was too

Rean being an oblivious fuck as well as the Blonde girl with mommy issues and the conflict between Julius and the dude with the shot gun were just literally THE worst.

I felt the world building wasnt done well either, going to each students home town to "get a cup of sugar" on day 1 and then "stop terrorists" on day 2 got real old real quick without any solid character development.

It's a JRPG in a high-school fantasy steam punk ish setting with magic and destinies and waifus. That being said it's done extremely well. Like, generic but polished to such an insane extent it actually becomes amazing.

Turn-based combat with a focus on movement and order time manipulation.

I advise putting it on "Hard" for your first playthrough if you're any good at JRPGs. If you're casual as shit, go for "Normal". "Nightmare" is for NG+, but you can pick it if you have basketball-nuts.

The patch that exists for Zero isn't all that bad, really. I've played way worse official translations in my life. Too bad zero is the worst game of the kiseki series (still a solid 7/10).

I own 1 and 2 on the vita, and felt like playing through them again with the extra voiced dialogue, so went ahead and bought this one.

Shame I can't import my save from the vita, but oh well. Soon enough I'll be able to just download a save to get all the NG+ goodies I want (which mostly is the infinite free time).

The reality of the situation is that the PC version is superior in every way. Controls, visuals, content. That being said, I can totally understand why you'd be on the fence.

I played through the game on PS3, and I don't regret buying it and replaying it on PC: I looks great and it's nice to not have to read so much.

That being said, you fell out at chapter 3, meaning you have a LOT of cool story ahead of you. I'd recommend just starting over with the new version.

I'm fighting him now on fresh nightmare and it has been fairly easy.

He raped me with stuns so I went back and bought the citrus bottle, otherwise keep Resounding Beat and Motivate up, and when you can keep the detector debuff on him. Save your cp for normal crafts or stealing crits from him. Don't be afraid to move Elliot/Alisa if he gets close.

The very first part of the game where you fight with level 40 characters, just to see how the game run on my shitbox.

There's two (very similar) outfits per character. I think the two last characters who join you get three, since they also get the costume that they have before joining you. There are a few event costumes that you can unlock the ability to wear normally in New Game+ like swimsuits and shit.
There's one DLC outfit for each character and other than the two school uniforms (which are again pretty similar) it's all you get on your first playthrough.
Costumes are pretty limited as a whole, which is understandable since previous games didn't have them at all and the games look like shit anyway so what's the point.

Barely. You can dance with one of them at the end of the game, and you can actually romance them in the second game, but you never strictly get a chance to officially date them. If you want to have a general idea about the quality of the routes:
Alisa's is very obviously the 'intended' romantic route. Fie's and Emma's routes are also viable alternates that are pretty good too. Laura's is pretty dumb and abrupt, but by that point if the sword autism didn't stop you you knew what you were getting into. Sara tells you to come back when you're older, but doesn't rule it out.

You can also choose a male for these events for the same gameplay benefits, and they get unique conversations too, but the first game's doesn't end in a dance and the second doesn't end in romance because Rean is canonically straight.
