It's really not, but I hate the forced co-op missions.

Heists would've been so much fun with AI parters, or at least being able to do CEO shit in a private server.

I'd rather play GTA IV multiplayer because it actually had better gunplay, audio, and physics without shark cards for fake reality shit.

What do you do in mp besides free roam? I constantly see all these additions like cars, planes and that tron thing but is there any structure like coop missions?

This. Online is very enjoyable with real life friends. Playing with randoms is just annoying, you can't even finish a heist if one faggot in the group can't do his part well. It reminds me of random team games in starcraft 2
