Without having the Steam Controller's programmable touchpads I'm really not sure.
This seems like somebody's attempt to build a better Steam pad but without its killer feature of a workable alternative to mouse input.

Looks fucking awful, no analog buttons or dpad and sticks like the dualshock positioning but with a xbox controller style just with less comfortable and more square looking overall shape.
