hoping for a bit more enemy variety and challenge in this one. TNO had a weird difficulty curve on the highest difficulty where by the end of the game it had become absurdly easy. (minus the heavy shotgunners section in the submarine level)

also strange that the Nazis and KKK are collaborating considering the Nazis weren't fans. but whatever it's a videogame, I just hope they find a way to do something cool with them rather than having random yahoos in robes attacking BJ

It's the head transplant device. The start of the trailer shows a cat's head on a monkey's body, with the same exact band around its neck that BJ has there.

There's even a moment in the trailer when BJ has the armor, but retracts the helmet when he comes out of the elevator shaft. If you look at his neck when he's got the guns pointed at his face, there isn't a metal band around it.

The running theory is that much like the previous game, this one has branching timelines; one with BJ wearing the armor, and one where BJ had his head transplanted onto a different body.

I think Hitler is already dead in this time line since it's based off the 2009 or whenever the Wolfenstein reboot was released. There was some kind of animation trailer or something that came out before it where BJ killed Hitler which I figured meant that at that point he'd already killed Hitler before the start of that game

TNO and TOB are both good. New Order has enough variety and clever ideas to make up for its less than flawless execution, and The Old Blood is part RtCW remake, part Inglourious Basterds, with some satisfying as shit monster combat in the latter half.
