I didn't realize his final form weak against bubble. When I was kid I thought since this is the final boss, he doesn't have any weakness except the charged up buster shot. I still managed to beat him, that was stupid yet awesome of me.

If you go up to a corner he will always do wall jumps, you stick to the wall and shoot him while he is dashing. After a certain amount of jumps you drop down and then repeat the process. It's piss easy.

Beat this as a kid with charged buster shots because nothing else worked and rolling shield was a shit weapon so I didn't botger. Thought it was a great challenge, then many years later I found out the rolling shield completely trivializes this fight.
