Seattlefag here but not that dude and I don't think you understand the pain. Yes it is considerably hotter in phoenix but you're also equipped to deal with it. People live in phoenix and get used to it in some degree.

Seattle? Hell western Washington in general? We don't have AC. Some of our buildings/offices don't have AC. Because we never needed it. It was like 85 TOPS in the middle of july/august. Now it's like 100 degrees every other day. We don't have "summer" clothes. We don't have a real fucking waterpark to go to because lmao wild waves sucks. We don't really even have pools. I've been walking around my apartment in my underwear since I got off work with all the windows open and I can see that at least one other person is doing the exact same thing across the street.

This happened with every laptop except my last one, which was a Toshiba. The Toshiba laptop was even worse, the power jack area heated up so much it swelled and used to force the power adapter out. It'd push it out so I'd need to physically hold it in, burning my hand in the process. It'd reach this heat in minutes.

>>386078312
Hard drives usually fail within the first week of use. Same with power supplies. They have the highest failure rates of any components. But once they're past that initial stage they usually last as long as they should. It's why you should always pay attention to the warranties for all of your components.

Coil whine is fucking everywhere, sometimes a headset, or a monitor, often an adapter, or a computer part (gpu and psu probably)...
And speakers hum... yeah that fucking transformer, this sound is fucking older than me.
Coil whine tho is fairly recent, it's due to them using design prioritizing power efficiency (less power consumption) and not giving a fuck about noise.

If you get shit frames then bluescreen, I suggest you check the voltage of your GPU with a program like MSI Afterburner.
I had this problem once; somehow my GPU was undervolted and locked there so playing games fucked the whole thing up.

Just last night, my fucking laptop charger sparked bright enough to light up my fucking room. I am now shitposting with only two hours of life remaining on my battery. The wire literally severed itself and burnt out. Thankfully, no damage to my battery, still holds a charge.

It's weird now that I think about it, but once in a while I have like this imperative need to delete all my porn and even images saved from here believing it will bring me good luck.

I think it started when I was a kid and I was growing paranoid about my porn folder being a liability in the only pc the family had, but felt I had to get something in return before obliterating it so I cast a prayer or something asking for good fortune and delete it.

I have to say that all things considered stuff tends to go my way so I feel compelled to keep doing it or risk angering whatever I've been sacrificing to.

It really is planned obsolescence. There's no rational reason why the switches would wear down that quickly. You can spend a cent more for better materials for the most failure prone component in the mouse to completely prevent the failure from happening for 15 years, but they don't because people will continue to buy brand new mice for $50 every year because nobody knows how to solder anymore.

The real answer to this question is that you have a mouse or keyboard hooked up to your PC and you have them set to wake up your computer if they receive a signal
You accidentally jiggled your desk and your mouse moved and turned your PC back on
Go into your settings and just set it so external hardware won't wake up your PC.
Again, it's not something mysterious or the NSA or some other memeshit like other retards said, I had to deal with this too until I figured it out.
Hope this helps.

Run Memtest on it and check ur rams ( free download ) and grab a copy of Defraggler and do a full defrag, it's free as well. I'd also suggest downloading CoreTemp and set it to log all temp data, it will let you review temps on the CPU right before crashing. I'm sure you're video card manufacturer has some temperature monitoring software as part of the drivers or a free download to check gpu temps.

Yeah, blocking ads and scripts is such an unbelievably massive boon in terms of usability and security it isn't even funny. I'd like to entertain the thought of disabling the adblocker for certain sites, but everyone really is trying to make me want to keep that shit permanently on till the end of days. There's no way in fuck I'm downloading 10+ megabytes of useless, resource-eating and potentially malicious garbage so some faggot can get a fraction of a fraction of a cent from my pageviews.

The only positive exception I can think of is this niche forum I occasionally visit. It's homebrew software that serves essentially static HTML, the posts are text only and the only images are avatars and a single ad banner that's a locally served image file. It's such a goddamn joy to visit because the interface is logical and it's fucking fast as all get out, pageloads on the client end routinely measure in the half second range (try that with basically any other website out there) and the whole page loads immediately, no shitty interstitial blank screens while the scripts run their bloated courses. I just wish more websites were like that, they're infinitely more usable on both mobile and PC than the current "web 3.0" meme garbage train everyone is trying to get on these days.

You can get the switches on ebay for cheap. Get the ones that say japan on them they last a lot longer. Only takes a couple of minutes to do the repair and if you are afraid of soldering (you shouldn't be) you can swap them without desoldering them by dissasembling the switch.
>>
>>386091715
because people use ad blockers and companies want money so they shove more shit to try and stop ad blockers in there, these are javascript shits that try to work around the ad blockers.
Or they just find other ways of advertising to you like detecting if you have an ad blocker and refusing to function at all if you ahve it enabled on their site.
It's pretty gay. But I mean, that's just how shit is.
