Why is it so common for games to feature Abrahamic themes?

The Japanese think they're cool

1. Has a bit of foreign "cool" factor for the japs
2. Abrahamic religions are really widespread and make for an easy way to insert religious themes into your game without having to resort to things like proper explanation or nuance, and you don't have to worry about it completely going over your audiences' heads.
