Is this worth playing yet. I'm ready to start a new RPG.

I put over 20 hours in before I gave up on it. I just didn't like the core gameplay very much. Driving around was boring, I didn't enjoy the banter between the main characters, and the battle system ended up feeling a bit like hack and slash. Bought The Zodiac Age and it's so much better.

The game rewards you for being strategic with it. For example, ending a battle quickly or using lots of team-based attacks. While you can go through the game just spamming attack, it's not the best way to go.
