What update added the Nether? I bought it a bit before that. I played it a lot for a few weeks but I'll never be able to go back to it.

The first 2 days I spent playing the game I went in blind and enjoyed the fuck out of it. After I did watch a small 5 minute "Your first night in MC" video to learn a few things, but now it's just stupid levels. Surprised it doesn't have a minimap and death markers.

If that's the hunger update than yeah, sure.

I get it's survival mode, but that's less about difficulty and more about tedium. Let me hunt for food when I fuck up, not have to base everything I do around it.
