Well, the reality is that most people who engage in this, ESPECIALLY those attracted to /pol/ really don't care about any political stuff to begin with. It's a game, ironically a game of identity and self-validation above all. These are people who are - in vast majority - inherently predisposed or raised to be irrational and take the wrong picks by default.

But it is true that outside of the internet subcultures, especially in US, the political spectrum is being really fucked in the ass by A) radicalized two party system that only represents two almost equally as misguided ideals, and B) by assumption that the two parties are supposed to principally opposing, rather than actually being complimentary open to dialogue. Not him, but it's a great game for majority of those 20 hours it takes to finish. That said, it's way too stretched out (last couple of hours are pointless and kinda sour the experience). And no: it does not have much of a replay value. You can have a little fun with one of the small survival challenges and scenarios that the game offers, and you might be tempted to replay it a second time year or two after finishing it just to relive the great atmosphere and environments, but it's not exactly something you'd come back playing over and over again.
If you want something like that, get Factorio or something.
