Why do you think Jusis deserves his own top tier spot in CS1? He has one of the best crafts (noble command) but thats really his only benefit. He's a hybrid character in a series that favors pure art casters or craft users. After buffing he performs marginally worse so you want to swap him out

Jusis is at the very top of the cast because Noble Command is akin to casting La Forte, Chrono Drive and half of Fortuna at once without any charge time. Just putting him in your party increases overall damage output significantly.

Rean hits hard and against bosses that can be delayed will never give them a turn. Alisa is a great support character that supplies CP and IIRC Shining on top of having like the 3rd highest ATS and above average speed. Millium is a great beatstick with the only full screen S-Craft in the game.

Emma is the best magic nuke in the game however she's extremely slow. Laura is great physical beat stick but worse than Millium in damage in exchange for more bulk. Fie is the fastest character in the game with good crafts but her damage is lacking since she's mainly used as a dodge tank against bosses.

Elliot is a worse Emma, Gaius is a worse Laura and Machias is only useful against bosses when he learn his AT Advance craft at like the ass end of the game.

Crow is incredibly average outside of having like the 3rd highest speed stat in the game (behind Fie and Rean) and his crafts are pretty meh.

You'd have to get to the end of Chapter 8 in SC to not be spoiled on a character reveal midway through the first Cold Steel. Jusis being present gives the entire party +50% Str/Ats/Spd in two actions. His speed stat is good and his ATS is above average (4th out of 11) meaning that he can do good enough damage magically.

CS1 also has a damage cap which means that Laura/Millium/Rean don't get to completely one shot bosses with Domination + Vermillion (Tauros is dogshit here) and neither can Emma/Elliot with a good lost art either.

Alisa is the best character in both games, her AoE buff cp regen+insight is goat. And she comes with that spell that resurrects+restores the whole party. ANY team rocks as long as she's in.
Also Fie is top tier. She's the fastest character (SPD is everything in a nightmare playthrough), she crits and oneshots AoE, AoE delays with her pistols, covers all 4 damage types (which makes her a cp battery for her partner and best field character), very huge S-craft (or whole screen? Don't remember), and has 30% natural evasion. She lacks STR, but she makes up for it with all the turns she gets.
Dunno about Millium, never used her.
Laura is fine as mid. She's extremely overrated. Sure, high STR, but that's it. She's slow and her crafts aren't that great.

Jusis, Rean, Fie and Alisa is probably best CS1 team.

I think it's appropriate, since he doesn't really understand it. People tend to fear what they don't understand or lack control over. It doesn't help that his first experience with it he doesn't really recall and ended up killing a bear. That's a frightening power.

The port is rather thorough, with new controller prompts, massive performance gains (60 FPS and above, any resolution (can't really do 16:10 aspect) up tho 4K and beyond), a Turbo button to speed the game up more, Japanese text and unofficial undub support, and redone/additional English voices so Rean isn't the only one going unvoiced in conversations.
