Fuck off sharkie, not gonna fall for that.
We should drop all vore-connoisseurs into a tank with a megalodon. They get to experience their weird fetish and the world gets rid of these deviants, win-win.

I'm still working on it, but I'm a solo dev with a full-time job so it's progressing very slowly.
There's been some progress in the past few months though; rewritten netcode, dedicated servers, a bunch of new features, more modding options on custom servers...
>>386023264
Some people say it's still out there.

>>386024040
Ah no problem.
I think the game is really good.
It's just that I wish more people played it.

LEMME GIVE YOU ONE THAT'S COMPLETELY FUCKING FREE
http://www.moddb.com/games/deepsea/downloads/deepsea
THAT'S RIGHT IT'S DEEPSEA ON MODDB, A FREE DOWNLOADABLE, STANDALONE GAME WHERE YOU EXPLORE THE FUCKING DEEP SEA AND TRY TO KILL AN ANGLER FISH
IT'S SCARY AS FUCK
PIC FUCKING RELATED
PLAY THIS SHIT OR SHUT THE FUCK UP
Have they figured out what the Bloop actually is already?
>>386025868
We've only mapped 5% of the ocean, that's not the same thing.
Fishing and pollution is generally fucking destroying ocean life anyway now.
>>386025868
Most of the big species have been discovered, when people talk about 5% or a number of that, what they mean is that the ocean is full of microscopic or just very small species that are very hard to discover.
>>386020171
I've played dozens of hours in Subnautica. I know every creature in the game and, roughly, where the substantial threats prowl.
I still fucking avoid large spaces of open water like the god damn plague, sticking to the sea floor if I'm anywhere aware form the center of the map. I still feel my heart pounding out of its chest when a reaper roams unusually wide and comes from an angle I didn't expect. I still twitch whenever I hear the warp sound.I still think they need to add more spooky shit. Like a creature that has a 500m aggro range and two eyes that you can see from almost any distance piercing through the water that slowly approaches you, freezing when you look at him until he gets close enough to strike. Or an angler fish that abducts beacons you've neglected. And a fucking tentacle monstrosity COME ON.
>>386026018
Yep. It seems to be produced by icequakes, and rapid shifts of large ice bodies. So nothing thrilling, I'm afraid.
>>386026018
it was a bunch of ice rubbing against each other. Kinda like an earthquake but with ice.
>>386026018
Iceberg. There probably aren't any more big aquatic animals to discover, considering the amount of food that would be needed to substain a sizable population.

>>386021915
IIRC petting a shark is actually a good idea since it disrupts their ability to detect your electromagnetic field, which you can already make it hard to detect if you're perfectly calm, at least that's a what a biologist I met on my last dive said.
