What mods should I install for a Call of Pripyat playthrough
And why?
misery
play SoC instead
Call of Chernobyl if you're out of mods to play, sandboxing lets you enjoy the zone before it becomes straight upCorruption of Champions

None, get CoC, your preferred weapon xpac, and any other submod that you're interested in.
Bumping too.
I have it sitting in my library not knowing what to play and what mods. I have all 3 games. Which game and mods should I get?

Why should I play SoC instead of CoP
>>386013768
If you've played it before, I'd rather just get CoC.
If you need instructions on how to install CoC and its mods, check out the enclosed instruction thread

why do you need mods at all?
Play on high difficulty and aim for heads is all you need to do.

CoC not Soc. I see you're a pleb, please stop embarassing yourself.

I googled it
So why is CoC better than misery, fag?
>>386016897
I said Call of Chernobyl, it's a sandbox mod, not Shadow of Chernobyl. I played SOC so many times I can get from cordon to bar blindfolded.

Why is CoC so highly regarded, I've already downloaded misery.
All the times I've played stalker I played for like, 3/5 hours then stopped. I'm downloading CoC RN but why is it so good?
I've heard a lot about misery so I downloaded that first.

stop

Misery a shit
CoC is just all the maps/factions/mutants/guns put together so you have the full STALKER sandbox.
It's also standalone, not a mod anymore.

I'd argue that CoP is the only one that is completely fine without any mods whatsoever
if it's your first time playing it, don't bother modding it (unless you want better graphics or something)

well if you can't play stalker for extended periods of time then it probably won't be your cup of tea, it's just 'here you' open ended role playing as a member of any faction doing random fetch quests and the like, but enjoying the true randomness of the zone, I'd reload a save and it'd play out differently each time. It's the journey, not the destination that makes STALKER

It was years ago, and I was playing vanilla
