Can someone explain why the fuck Psychonauts 2 took so long to be funded? I know it didn't see a lot of initial commercial success for a lot of reasons, but once it became a critical hit and they started selling millions of copies digitally over the years why didn't Double Fine just make a second one? Why did they need crowdfunding? They knew it would make money by just being called Psychonauts 2. Why does a studio, that I would hope makes money off their own games, need funding for a surefire hit that only they can make? Was it just a Jewish trick?
