Look what I found at Goodwill for $4.
Shrink-wrapped, all pieces included, instructions AND it's vidya-related!
Wanna ask your mom to ride the bus home with me to put this together at my house? You can stay for dinner and we can play Nintendo afterwards! :)
Ooh, it's just like the video game!

>>386003124
I bought a bag of mine craft toys for 5$ from some kids yard sale. Was a shit ton kid will regret it one day when he is older watching block porn. It's like all kids grew out of it at once and tons of this stuff has been showing up at second hand places.

>>386004634
It's true. When I was 16, I gave most of my Legos I'd collected growing up to my ex (and first) girlfriend's little brother because it was kid shit.
8 years later, it's one of my biggest regrets.

this sounds amazing. what I wouldn't give to be a kid again. there used to be a guy on my bus, little older than me, who would have me get off at his stop and take me into his house and give me pokemon figures and stuff because he knew I enjoyed them. thanks Kyle
>>386005351
Those aren't ACTUAL Legos though.

Okay! I just finished the first part. You can help with the next part! For real though, this is pretty neat and enjoyable. These little mods and the chest/crafting table. I dig it.
Look! A skeleton!
Also, check out the water. It's just like the game, where you place a block of water and it spills over angularly.
Pretty cute.

Be honest anons, if you had a successful youtube channel and someone offered you a good amount of moeny to do this, would you? You wouldn't have to advertise it on your channel or anything, just sign a paper saying they can make a character out of you for their toy line.

LEGO

REEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>386007430
I think it'd be fuckin awesome to have a toy made of me. Although I'd feel a little sleazy because I didn't make the game and pretty much used someone else's hard programming/game design work and profit off it.

After lurking this thread, I really want to play with legos, considering that I never had the opportunity to do so as a child. They seem fun and look like a great stress reliever.
And done!
Honestly, this was pretty neat. It's been at least a decade since I've put a Lego set together, and seeing all the Minecraft stuff in Lego form was really cool. The birch tree is very cute, haha.
Anyone, thanks for humoring me pretend to be a kid for an hour or so.
Pretty fun.
I'd like to build a giant lego model of something, but I don't have a single ounce of creativity in my bones, and I can't justify paying over $100 for a specific lego set.not to mention besides maybe the Star Wars ones, which have shrank incredibly in size, I don't have any interest in any of the current models.
>>386008537please don't kill yourself, Anon.
>>386008698
Just look into model kits instead. I've gotten into Gunpla lately after watching unicorn and its been fun and is way prettier looking to show off.
>>386008698
My uncle used to have a huge lego set that filled an entire table of a street with big ass buildings and a monorail.
Then he became a jobless bum and sold all his lego.
>>386008537
Anon, are you alive inside?
At all?
>>386008529
Yo, you really should, especially if you didn't get to play with any as a kid.
There's something incredibly cathartic about following the simple instructions and snapping them together.
They're a tad pricey, but still fun.
They sell licensed sets (Minecraft, Batman, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc) or the City and Creator sets, which are just fun generic city sets and boxes of random bricks. Check out pic related
I'd head over to >>>/toy/ and see what they have to say. They can set you up with some idea.
>>386008753
>>386008905I'm actually quite happy, I was joking. Finishing my undergraduate degree in film production soon. Already have a job lined up a Turner Broadcasting, specifically Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. At my parents house this week for dad's retirement and my mom's birthday. They just bought an RV and are getting ready to celebrate 47 years of marriage on a big trip out west. Went to lunch with my sister and her family and we stopped at Goodwill. Saw this, smiled. My sister was like "Why don't you buy it?"
"Ehh, nah. I'm too old."
"What, you're too old to have fun?"
Was like fuck it. And really enjoyed it.
Actually really did enjoy doing it.

Anon you're too wholesome for this board.
>>386008698
get into the bandai licensed star wars kits instead, they're cheaper and much better looking than lego sets. The only difference is that you have to put more effort in building it to make it look pretty.

Same with this one - those mechanical or technic pieces or whatever they were called. I'd buy 'em.
Anyway, been great "yall," hah. Keep havin' fun. Off to bed.
>>386010389
no I think it was autism
I bought a technic lego set because it looked cool. Followed the instructions, and finished building it, then played with it, was pretty fun. I sometimes play with it but I don't really feel like tearing it apart and build original stuff. Sometimes I kinda feel like I wasted money for not building something else with the lego set.
