I tried out the demo for this, but I had no idea what I was doing in combat. I just ended up mashing buttons until stuff was dead. Also, the FoV on the camera in the overworld seems really small.
I'm not that familiar with the Tales series, I think I've only played Vesperia before.

Should I get Berseria, or should I just go for something else in the series?

Get Berseria if you like anime. If not, don't get it. The combat is just exploiting enemy weaknesses and mashing RT as soon as you have enough souls for velvets special attack and there's not really that much to it. I still like it more than most RPG combat tho

Stalker and Monster Hunter. I had never heard of the Stalker series before coming here, and they're now some of my favorite games. And I had originally dismissed MH as a boring game targeted towards little kids who liked dinosaurs based on the ads I saw on TV, and now here I am looking forward to finally getting to play a new title on something other than a fucking 3DS screen.
