I only recently got into it, just finished HoT story on my revenant. I was very disappointed with the ending, but whatever. Now running some hero points on her and started a mesmer thats running season 3 content.

I did everything in Guild Wars 1. All my 10 characters have FoW armor and Vabbi Armor.
I did every single elite dungeons and elite instances in hard mode.
I cleared every single maps in all the games in hard mode.

There's nothing left for me in that game.

Yes. They asked Felicia Day to retake her role, but she asked for too much money, so she had no talking part in Season 2 and was conveniently out cold during Heart of Thorns when you save her. It's the same reason why they killed Eir.

My only race i haven't made yet is human. And the new xpac seems to be leaning more toward humans lore, like how HoT was with sylvari.

It probably too late, but I usually play the game and use whatever rune I salvage to gear up my heroes. If its for an attribute boost, Major run are quite nice to use since there isn't much HP lost from using it.

It's a permanent drop, and it's still there. It's rare as fuck so you may farm for hours and think it's been removed, but apparently it's still there, and gifts of the traveler can get you one.

Granted WoW and XIV obviously have more in common and tread a lot of the same ground, but at least there's something to be said about taking from successful games in the genre and learning. XIV tends to have very strong/obvious visual gameplay design, I don't really know how GW2 does with that but it can't hurt to learn from a place that's done it pretty well.

I still play GW2 from time to time, mind you - mostly peer-pressure since a lot of relatives play the game. But I'll still consider GW1 the better game as long as 2 have a dedicated and mandatory heal slot and no "real" build-crafting (from a lot more skills and traits, and if possible with elite skill capture).
