In Japan, it was "Hello! Pac-Man" (using those disgustingly shitty punctuation errors that all japs use, similarly seen when they write out "OH! MY GOD" and recently "Hey! Pikmin").
Granted, they shouldn't have called it that in the states, but maybe something like Pac-Man Adventure or maybe Pac-and-Click.

With modern technology you could do pretty much any art style in 3D, I don't think cel shaded would be the best way to go with an art style like that, though.
I'd like a 3D platformer that mashes all the Namco classics like Dig Dug, Tower of Druaga, Legend of Valkyrie, Baraduke, Toy Pop, Cutie Q, Galaga, Grobda, Dragon Buster, and Rombers into its world.
The atmosphere should go for "80's arcade classic" but the game itself should be a modern 3D platformer, a grander take on what Pac-Man World and Pac-Man World 2 did.
