I like both. They're unironically the two best character in the whole serie after the snake (excepted liquid, what a fucking piece of shit) and the johnny.

Like, ocelot is so cool, and miller is so damn funny.
The biggest disappointment of MGS 5 - Was to not make them playable at all.
IT WAS the opportunity to add a little coop elements to the game with three player, Snake/Kaz/Ocelot with a different guy who talk to you on the radio (or woman something like para medic) that would have been GOLD

This game has a tons of missed opportunity, but i feels like playing kaz and ocelot are the biggest one.

>do your first Phantom Pain missions at night, the difficulty curve is similar to the first MGS where your arsenal balances things out after a few absurd missions
>if you're feeling the non-lethal rush, get yourself some rubber bullets and upgrade your tranqs/fultons
>if Kaz says anything about a dog during a mission, drop what you're doing and extract the puppy
>when you get the mission Cloaked in Silence, spare Quiet
>avoid MGSV threads until you beat the game, which shouldn't take you more than three days depending on side-quests to avoid spoilers
>get into the game as blindly as you can, you'll probably figure out the plot twists before they even happen so you don't have to worry about context during story development

Rocket arm is the best and most overpowered stealth tool in the game
Acceleramin requires a rare resource (haoma) to develop and deploy with, but having a free reflex mode at the press of a button is great.
Fulton the puppy.
There's a really dumb way to S-Rank Cloaked in Silence without using any firearms that involves using your iDroid as an offensive tool.
Even if you're going full stealth, develop the Battle Dress to have it ready for when you need it. Developing and possibly upgrading the CGM before attempting Side Op 150 might be a good idea too.
Animal capturing and capture cages work a little differently in V compared to 3. With capture cage animals, you won't see them in the world, but putting down capture cages in the right areas will get you a chance to obtain that rare animal. Most of the rare ones can only be caught in very specific individual areas.
Expect gerbils.

I killed Quiet, that bitch tried to murder me while I was in hospital, then she had to go ahead and have the worst boss fight in the series. I killed that heartless bitch then had to go back and save her after I'd beaten the game and discovered I was missing episode 45, I had to get my bond with her all the way up to unlock it just to get that stupid S rank every mission achievement. I saved the doggo though and I would've killed Huey if the game let me, hell, we should've killed him as soon as we saw him.

There's no true codec in that game, but I get what you mean. I'll admit it was pretty exciting the first time I played it, but I was ultimately disappointed because there weren't any other boss fights in the game outside of Sahelanthropus, which was also pretty easy, it wasn't short though. I guess I kind of wanted her to retreat after the fight and keep popping up through out the game like Ocelot did in Snake Eater, it ended just as I was getting into it and then the same slowed back down to a snail's pace. Don't get me wrong, I do really enjoy Phantom pain, but there's certain points where you expect things to ramp up, yet they never do. The Quiet fight was the first of these points in a chain of disappointment.
