Yeah it was very ambitious. 3 looked like a 2D platformer but played more like an adventure game.

I hated it at first but then learned to appreciate it.

In Wario Land 4 the transformations are under used and the charm isn't quite there.

Man I have some fond ass memories of this game. When I was a kid I played this one day at a laundry mat and it's one of my greatest memories. 7 year old me could enjoy games a lot better than I can now.

It's not that I hate any of them, but Wario Land was just Mario land 3. That being said, Ik've only 100% WL 1 and 2.
