Well i'm sure people that don't like Metroid Prime could note a bunch of supposed issues with the gameplay but for me personally the most unfortunate aspect is probably the plothole about where Metroid Prime got all the weapons.

I'm well aware the original lore had backstory on him straling it from pirates but that got retconned for good reason since the whole point of the barrier was that nothing could pass through.

I know alot of people hate it but its actually my favorite area. Amazing atmosphere and all sorts of spooky hazards. I understand people hate wading through water and quicksand but honestly its just makes for a great change of pace in exploration for me. You even have to go through quicksand on purpose for some power ups.

I don't like it because it's very clear what to do next most of the time, the rest of the game has things that will draw your attention like if you try to go to Kraid without the High Jump you'll remember trying to jump up there or going to the Wrecked Ship early you'll see all the Grapple beam spots that are above. The same isn't true of Maridia because the spot where you need to use the Space Jump is through a single block that is destroyed by Grappling onto it and players might not even come across this before hand.

I've played Super Metroid many times and even I still get stuck in Maridia.

Sure there is, some stages are a ton of fun to play and it sucks that I only get to do Death Shudder and the second Azel fight once per play through. Should've been an unlockable after beating the game once since I understand not having it on a first play through so you can't grind for points but seems kind of silly to not have it at all.

These two are my personal favorites.

It's not a huge deal since I can always use multiple save files but I don't really see a reason for it to not be included either. A Boss Rush would be a good idea too, even better if you could pick the ones you did since the Demon Elvis/Shannon, Psycho Midget and Angra are all kind of bad.

Medieval 2 is a great game, but when people look back on it they forget that sometimes it behaved like Empire.
They unit behaviour around forts in Empire was terrible but at least you could just demolish the forts and do field battles instead, no choice with Medieval where you can only really give proper move orders in the deployment phase. If you have an archer firing on your walls and you want to move them to another wall with a better vantage point sometimes it can be basically impossible, sometimes this would even happen in field battles, its awful

At least it makes up for it with the best style graphics, family trees, guilds, holy wars, tons of different factions,

Another minor one is that 2 player fucks up the scoring, and you can't join mid game without being at level 0

I'm going to need some help with this one.
There are some pain in the dick missions, but whenever there's a gimmick, good or bad, you only see it once or twice during the whole campaign.
The fact that you can't skip dialogue is pretty assy I guess.

Mook enemies had okay variety but needed more that could be a serious threat. Also a few bosses were lacking, particularly Gigapede.

Lack of enemy variety when compared to its sequel with most enemies having basic and predictable attacks, and the Baron of Hell is a walking door of meat. That's honestly the best I can come up with because all in all, Doom is a very solid game and I absolutely love it. I was trying to think of a biggest flaw from a mechanical standpoint, so I ruled out shit like "dated graphics" (even though they still hold up). If it were Doom 2 then I could easily just say "Downtown" and call it a day.

Hell Knights were definitely a good addition, since they're basically just 50% HP Barons. I really liked Barons but they're admittedly just rocket sponges that should be used sparingly in smart locations, so Hell Knights were much more flexible and bearable to face against since you could take them down with three SSG blasts or a few rockets. Two Knights could fill the place of a Baron and be more threatening due to there being two of them, but a single Baron always feels more intimidating. I used to make Doom maps as a hobby so this kind of strategic enemy usage in terms of level design has stuck with me.

Considering the game refers to all the people Hojo experimented on as Sephiroth clones in relation to the Reunion Theory I'd say FFVII's translation is a pretty big issue. Any game where you need to consult outside sources to understand the story has a problem with its story telling in one way or another.

The item upgrade system is horrendous, and probably some of the worst in video games. Considering the rarity of the upgrade items and the fact that they're all specific to certain upgrades, half of which are useless.

Everything else is flawless.

Stone Tower is an absolute mess to get through because of the Elegy of Emptiness. Playing that song over and over just to get through certain puzzles was one of the most irritating things.

Also, Gyorg had a much needed fix in the 3DS version... but Nintendo somehow managed to eff over all of the other bosses in that version, including my favorite boss of all time, Goht.

Includes driving minigames in between the platformers to add some variety. Each time you beat it you get the main collectible except the next time there's a twist. Someone thought it would be a good idea to make you drive through rings no bigger than your car, place them one at a time with maybe three seconds at most to drive into them, give them very short expirations, and if you miss even one or don't reach it fast enough, you have to start the 3-8 minute course from the beginning. Worst of all, about 3 of these are required for you to beat the game.
