I know this feel.

I played SPriest in WoW from vanilla to Wrath. I started playing about a week before the Naxx patch, and around 2-3 months later, found a new guild and raided with them. They were great. There was a Warrior named Cager who would chill with us younger people in Vent (I was 16 at the time, he was early 20s). Also, the Warrior officer of the guild had a hardon for one role per class so he'd give me shit for being Shadow and Cager would defend me, telling the dude to pay for my sub if he wanted me to be Holy.

Anyhow, dude was awesome and I enjoyed spending time with him. He quit not too long into BC and I've never spoken or heard about him since. Fuckin' ~9 years later and I still wanna be friends with the guy and tell him thank you for being awesome.

I will never know this feel again

I never lost contact with anyone, I just distanced myself from annoying people or just didn't bother maintaining contact with boring people and I assume that everyone here who is blogposting about losing contact with friends is one of these kinds of people.
