For me it gets good on the DLC. The base game is cool too, i bought it on release for ps3, but the dungeon crawling of the DLC was such a good step in the right direction. It's a shame crapcom hates money so they aren't doing DD2 or even bringing DDO to the west.

Grand soren, when your favorite vocation gets a certain skill, when you first encounter big monsters in the open field and beat them or when you head into bitterblack isle stay there for a long time and forget there was an entire base game and it was all just DLC.
