bought one, but i waited until a few months before mario kart came out. seemed like a good time to get one. would have sucked to pick one up at launch.
still play it several days a week. kind of nice to have a few multiplayer games that i can load up in the middle of the night and find full games, even if it is with japs.

I did. I honestly don't regret it cause I really loved playing (still do) its exclusives. Mario Maker and Smash in particular. The numerous Switch/3DS ports are a bit if a bummer though.

Nentindo fucks it's customers over time and time again. The Wii U barely had any games worth playing and now it's effectively irrelevant since the release of the Switch. But don't let me stop you from wasting your money on all the overcomplicated asinine bullshit just to experience what's been the standard on other consoles for years now.

I did. If I could go back in time I would have not bought one though. Splatoon was about the only noteworthy thing. 3D World was fun for a playthrough but I had no desire to ever replay it. Smash I grew tired of fast but that's probably because I spent so much time on Brawl and was burnt out.

Yes and I regret it to this day. Literally the only two games I actually enjoyed were Bayonetta 2 and maybe Splatoon (although I barely played it), then I just put it on a shelf and bought a PS4 like a normal person.

28 minutes and nobody's pointed out this guy is literally lying? I used my own Gamecube controllers just fine on the adapter, and my friend used his wavebirds, too.

Same for me. The only 2 games I really got any mileage out of was MK8 and MH3U. Even after hacking it I got bored with it and play my PS4 every damn day.
