>inb4 literal autists come to complain about the tiniest things being changed in each of the games many of which are actually improvements
MM3D is better
>>
>>385938371
Of the remakes, OOT.
Of the originals, MM.
>>
>>385938371
Im still going to say MM. Every other zelda has been a copy and paste of thr last title.

wut

>>385938569
Atmosphere was one of the biggest strengths of both games, and the remakes destroyed that.

>>385938371
>3D
In to the trash, both of them.
>>
>>385938569
I want to cream inside Cremia
>>
>>385938783
they come with a 2D remake of their respective games, didn't you know?
>>
>>385938371
MM is a different game to OoT. Doesn't make sense to compare them - one's a linear standard adventure, one's a sidequest heavy experiment. I prefer MM but it's probably worse objectively speaking.
OoT 3D = OoT.
MM >>>>>>>>> MM3D.

They remade both games in Link to the past style 2D and you use the 3DS's 3D slider to turn 3D version off and turn the 2D game on

link is over-animated; a lot of his animations look extremely odd

MM 3D changes too much, OoT is basically a straight upgrade barring a few visual differences and has Master Quest included

plus OoT's the best game in the series, so there's that
>>
>>385939221
did you know you can beat bongo bongo in a rhythm game in the gamecube version if you have the donkey konga controller plugged in

>Atmosphere
Care to articulate what you actually mean by this? As far as I can tell the "atmosphere" is exactly the same.
>>
>>385938371
mm3d sucks
>>
>>385938371
OOT is not only better, it's also good.
MM is objectively very bad.
>>
>>385939780
He thinks the uglier and darker the game looks, the more atmosphere it has.

How was MM ruined in the 3ds version?
>>

>>

2nd this
>>
>>385940053
Only thing I can think of is saving became more casual. While I do consider that a negative, I would hardly call it ruined
>>
>>385938802
Majora's Mask is my favorite game of all time, I litterally, unirionically have a form of autism, and majora's mask 2deep5u stuff and the atmsophere is my favorite part

MM3d preserves the atmosphere as well as you can while updating the models. It did a better job then I was expecting.

The one exception to this is the great bay temple, which is a fair amount brighter and is blue and gold steampunk-ish, rather then dark brown and gray gritty dirty rusty metal, which changes the tone of the area a lot
>>
>>385940053
Boss weakpoints, can't shoot ice arrows everywhere, visuals are too light.

I just don't see any compelling reason to play MM3D instead of the original.
>>
OoT has less of that adventure charm with the redone graphics and feels sort of bland because it's the exact same thing.
MM made some good changes and some stupid ones, but overall is superior to the original.
The biggest reason to go back to the old ones is that they're console games so it's just up to preference.
MM3d>>>>>OoT3d
>>
I can't choose. All I can say is that I've replayed OoT more times than I've replayed MM. Based on replay value, OoT.

Good:
>Much better models and textures, and improved lighting/particles that with 1 exception (great bay temple) preserve the atmosphere and for the most part still feels creepy
>Gyorg fight is better
>Doesn't make you rewatch the business scrub cutscene
>Better framerate
>Song of double time allowing you to choose specific times to fast foward to.
>Gyro arrow controls
>Fishing
>if you have a n3ds/xl, you have camera rotation/control via c nub

Neutral:
>The bombers notebook is a little less obtuse and more organic to use, but it's also a little too helpful.
>Likewise, the save system is less obtuse, but allowing you to save without it being attached to going back in timee also removes some of the stress the game is meant to invoke, but you can impose thee limit artificially anyways.
>Twinmold fight is different but not better or worse. Some people like the change, some don't.
>Bank placement is moved

Bad
>Odolwa fight was made very easy, especially with the deku mask.
>Ice arrows can't be used just anywhere anymore.
>Zora swimming less fun, which outweighs the benefit of easier control in tight spaces.
>Bombers notebook pops up automatically and takes a while to do so, is annoying
>You have to get out of rolling as goron to hit Goht, but this isn't nearrly as bad as Odolwa's change
>It's harder to use the Deku spin to go faster (super minor thing to count against it, but it's there)
>Great bay temple's atmosphere is changed due to less gritty textures and brighter lighting
>>
>>385938371
Ocarina of Time

The gap between them is even wider if we're talking about the 3DS versions

Majora.
>>
>>385938371
They are great in very different ways.

>OOT
Superior dungeons and feels more like a complete grand adventure with a bigger world it might not even actually be bigger but it sure feels like it

>MM
Superior side quests, story, NPCs and hub town
>>
>>385938912
>MM is a different game to OoT. Doesn't make sense to compare them
One of the dumbest things I have ever read.
>>
>>385944974
MM is commonly acknowledged to be the black sheep of the series. That and Zelda 2.
