How do you deal with wrist pain as a gamer/shitposter? I have my hands on a keyboard or mouse for at least 12 hours a day, and my mouse wrist is hurting.
started playing more games with a controller
>Doctor, my wrist hurts when I'm on a keyboard for 12 hours a day. What should I do?
>"I suggest you not be on a keyboard 12 hours a day."

>he hasn't cut his hands off and had then replaced with a robotic alternative

What if it your job?
use your arm, not your wrist.
also, 12 hours a day holy shit
I would recommend just going to the gym and doing exercise in general where your wrists are involved so you strengthens them.
t. someone who spends 12 hours a day in the computer but also goes to the gym
I used to have pain, not only in wrists but also the back, not anymore

Doctors are so fucking useless.

In art you are taught to draw from the shoulder. You should game from the shoulder.
stretch every 30 minutes
literally just stop and go for a walk.
>>385936680
>hey doc I work 8 hours a day at a computer, can you help my wrist pain?
>get a new job
That's pretty impressive for an old man.

Make sure your elbow are on the desk, not only wrists on edge. Moved keybord and mouth further away from me and it helped

>let me prescribe you some very addictive pain medication

Step away from the fucking computer anon, what do you expect?

This, and also you should make sure to keep your wrist straight. You may need to rotate your mouse pad slightly if you've been keeping it square with your desk. Some drivers also allow you to re-calibrate mouse axes if you have trouble pointing this way, not sure how well it works for gaming though. The last thing you should do is avoid resting your palm on the mouse. Imagine you are holding a bubble that could pop if you aren't careful.
Take a day off.

kek, this.
>/v/: "doctor I have back pain, overweight, chronic constipation, bad mood and my feet hurts"
>doctor: "ok anon, tell me about your daily life. What do you do?"
>/v/: "oh, I just play videogames for 12 hours"
>doctor: "ok, my prescription is one bullet in the head, if it doesn't alleviate the pain, take another one after 8 hours"
I lift and play less frequently than I used to

>stretching for anything other than just being meme levels of flexible
You don't need to be flexible for being on your pc for 12 hours. Thats like telling someone who is about to lift weights to stretch. You're gonna break your shit m80.

You'd be surprised what your body old or young can do if you get past the mental barriers.
