It's pretty hard in a bullshit way, but if you can deal with that it's great, the dragon riding/flying mechanic is well made and the world has a well made atmosphere with decent music, it even had multiplayer with custom maps and some fun modes.

I wanted the gondolier hat for my character, but I didn't want to just spawn one on myself. So I stole one from the gondolier by casting the armor break spell and taking it from him when he was unconscious. There's a mod called Mug Fix that lets you steal stuff off unconscious people, which almost makes hand-to-hand useful

Thing is, I didn't realize the hat just disappears off him when it breaks. So I would cast the spell until I ran out of mana, and then I would punch the guy until he passed out to check if I could take the hat already. Then I would just go do something else. I had very poor magic skill and the hat took days to break. I was doing the Morag Tong questline and every time I came into town, I would go through that same routine

In-universe that gondolier would see the same elf come running for him several times a week, who would then beat him up for no reason

It is amazing to look at but the gameplay starts to decline after brain scorcher into generic "shoot my way through with biggest gun and armor available to get to arbitrary objective". There isn't even the slim possibility of pseudo stealthing it like Agroprom and retrieving the briefcase.
I enjoy more doing missions for duty and freedom than the pathway to the true ending.
