Persona is about japanese corruption anyway, and if you paid attention, Shido is more comparable to Hillary than anything.

Ironic seeing Sojiro actually amounts to the main plot and helping MC and his friends as opposed to Dojima who's sole purpose is giving Yu a place to live and so his daughter's kidnapping can kickstart the path to the bad ending, as well as Sae also actually contributing to the thieves.

Probably nobody here heard of this but, there used to be a fan project that had a concept for Persona 5's plot. characters and overall theme.

Yes, protagonist looks like Dojima but hey, at least it's not the usual muh highschool anime boys and girls JRPG cliche.

Some of the elements in there are pretty similar to what was shipped with the actual P5. I doubt it went unnoticed by Atlus since it was using their brand and all but they didn't try and take it down either.

Either way, this would be a very interesting direction for future Persona titles to explore, rather than the cliche highschool kids save the world cliche and at least keep the series fresh.
