As casual as it is and as bad as Blizzard is at balancing, Overwatch is a highly polished class-based shooter. It's pretty dumb to get heavily invested in it in competitive play, but as a team-based and/or class-based shooter it's one of the best out there at the moment. It's fun but deeply flawed. The game is purely rng based and I have like 14 wins out of 150 games, well above average considering people win 1 and 100 games statistically.

You basically play the circle, spawn really far from the plane drop to get at the edge, gear up, get a car, and always stay at the edge and pick people off one by one. You don't really get in many direct firefights until top 5. That's the only time that skill comes into play and situational awareness.

Everytime you win you feel as if it was purely by luck and placement. Basically you have to be the last one to be killed in the mexican standoff so you can 1v1 the victor of the free for all.

I don't get this, the gun mechanics and the first person ads system like arma is some of the best I've ever seen. It's literally one of the best shooters of recent memory, tactical shooters that is. It's competent as fuck, you can criticize the gameplay loop but the backbone of the game is really coherent.

Great game definitely needs work. It's fun to hop in and dick around. I don't expect to win although i have come close. Really enjoy playing with friends, and now that I got over the pussy hide and camp phase I play more aggressively. Its really great that you can just leave a match instead of waiting around after you die.

While it blows dick if you end up without a suppressor or scope, I'm okay with it as I'd rather have that going on rather hand holding easy trash. Plus the fact that better loot tends to spawn where many people decide to land makes early game challenging.

When I play solo I like to go to those popular areas and kill people, with friends we tend not to.

They added microtransactions. When pressed, they said that they did it to test whether the crate and key system would work.
