That's what I was thinking. This isn't a rock star so being explicit with the cause of death wouldn't make sense, but there's usually some sort of indication. Even suicide usually gets some acknoledgement. My guess is everyone is just taking from EA's official statement, which is just a standard press release, and either no one is asking or the family is requesting not to divulge.
Still, no matter how much I've come to hate Bioware, it's never a good thing to see these sort of news.

Hes told me is mostly a " where did I go wrong thing" and it's been over a decade now. He told me where he went wrong was treating all his kids the same when that son was an asshole and needed extra discipline in his life, compared to his other kids. Imagine if, at the funeral, one of the team members spoke up just to say "I knew Corey for a long time, and he was swell. This is very sad". Just seems underwhelming to me, like they couldn't even put as much effort into writing about the passing of a team member as I am into this blog post
