That's not Quiet or D-Horse. Only Dog and Walker are actually good, and they're both REALLY good.

Fucking D-Walker is badass. The fucker can drift harder than Initial D and turn on a dime while at full speed when you press the aim button while in wheely modo. Don't even bother with weapons besides the minigun, machete and Fulton Launcher on it, just use it as the ultimate vehicle. Fuck jeeps and tanks and trucks; just use a cheap loadout D-Walker for getting around.

The game was literally Fucking perfect in terms of game play, it had major story/completion flaws but the game play is undeniably perfected. I wouldn't mind it if every game had the exact same game play from now on. It's just that goddamn good.

turn off all assists, go in with the shitty preorder golden shotgun and ocelots revolver and naked camo.
i feel like thats how the game is meant to be played and it makes a 2nd playthrough REAL fun.
if it is too hard for you turn on one assist at a time and it will still be great.
if you dont care about developing stuff in motherbase, you need to go back less and dont need to worry about fulton.
unless there is a specific item you want to add to your arsenal.

While the gameplay is good it is the context in which the gameplay happens that is boring. The opening level is awesome. It is also one of the only levels that felt like a metal gear game. Everything post rescuing Kaz feels like and endless string of side missions.

D-Walker is amazing as a NL companion. The stun gun has 30 range and goes through walls, his crouched mode is completely silent, the fulton canon is overpowered and he's the most reliable vehicle as well. His minigun is good for killing vehicles too. Only shitters think that D-Walker is bad.

Quiet can take out posts for you without any effort and can mark enemies ahead of time. All the buddies have their niche in the game except for D-Horse.

Oh and of course, his D-Dog's pistols can have an unbreakable silencer and a shit ton of ammo. And his scouting head can and intercept head can take the place of D-Dog and Quiet.

I'm pretty sure people who think D-Walker sucks are people who thought his rockets would be useful instead of just sticking to his minigun for damage.

D-Walker was amazing and so fun to use. Especially on the mission where you get surrounded by the Skulls, just drifting like mad and gunning them down, felt like I was playing Armored Core or something.

A really big peev of mine. Why would they sacrifice any direct involvement Quiet could've had in the story for the sake of having a choice that's hardly a choice to begin with? Anyone who shoots her in the face would immediately go back to do the other option because they sure as shit don't want to miss out on any potential content.

Robot judo, super stun gun, powerful minigun, long range fultons, Skull machete that can destroy tanks in a few slashes and Scout Head on a high speed drifting machine that you can whistle for and it'll spawn right next to you.

Fulton Suit for infinite/free personnel extraction, Knife/Stun suit for taking out even the Heavy Armor soldiers near instantly (success on taking out whole squads varies), auto-marking everything in a 100m radius, barking and petting.
>Quiet
For being redundant in shooting dudes (although her presence means you don't need to carry your own sniper and instead can branch out a bit even though you know you'll miss your Brennan Rifle) and being an alternative to reflex mode since she'll instantly shoot anyone who spots you. She has those proactive options that most people don't even notice are there in the map menu and the hand grenade gimmick is actually pretty handy/powerful.
