Why are you against chromatic aberration?

its a cheap and overused way of fluffing up (bad) graphics and it just does not look good

It's OK if it's subtle but you're only supposed to have it along the edges/corners like a vignette. Games usually get it right but some artists do it evenly like pic related and it just makes it impossible to focus.

I never understood why they would put those effects in games. You are supposed to see stuff like your avatar does, and as far as I am concerned, I have never had lens flare, chromatic aberration, motion blur and all that other stuff.

I'm not a fan of anything which obscures vision in an fps game. It might even look nice but if it stops me from seeing what I'm killing clearly it gives me the shits.

because unnecessary blur and mutes the colors. This effect is one of the biggest reasons why MVCi looks so dull.
