It's amazing just how much worse (i.e. absent) the NPC animations are in the remake.

Movie bullshit aside, the remake was pretty fucking solid. The trophy for hoverboarding on Rilgar can go fuck itself though.

Here's something funny.
I searched places that linked the video on the internet to see what people's reactions was on different forums to how he rips the remake to shreds.
The Ratchet and Clank board on reddit loved the video and agreed that the original was better.
/r/PS4 on the other hand down voted the link to oblivion and the highest rated comments were saying things like he's just nitpicking, who cares about the frame rate it's not a fighting game, and that he just has nostalgia goggles because something new MUST be better.

I really hate Sonybronys with a passion. At least when Nintendo makes a bad game like Sticker Star Nintendo fans shit all over it, even on fanboy forums and even Miiverse.

I don't even think the Ratchet remake was bad, just unnecessary. In terms of "objective" quality it's around the same place as the Future games, but it invites comparisons too many comparisons the original game and that really hurts it.

Not a single person (that wasn't false flagging) thought it was good, pretty much every Nintenbro on the face of the internet agreed it was embarrassingly bad. This was the same year that big hitters like KH3, FF7 remake and Shenmue 3 were announced. Not that any of them are close to being released even in 2017, but the hype factor was too real for them at the time.

This game is a fun top tier singleplayer experience. Dont trust /v/ they like borderline porn games and hate mario-tier stuff
