Do the extend cut endings fix most of the problems people had with the original ones?

Keeping the Reapers around as the main threat after the first game was the biggest mistake this series made. The series could have had much more room for spinoffs and such if the main Reaper story hadn't crowded out everything else and made the galaxy too FUBAR to continue serving as a viable setting for new games.

But then, Andromeda has shown all of these to be moot points since the series was always destined to be mangled by idiots working for EA.

They shouldn't have changed the plot after it was leaked. The Dark Energy plot was already built up and made more sense than the stupid Organics vs Synthetics explanation the reapers gave in the actual game. It didn't even make sense.

Also the whole Crucible thing was stupid. Having plans for a magic super weapon show up right in time for the reaper invasion was too convenient and was unsatisfying.

The only good parts in the entire base game was Rannoch and Tuchanka, and even those have problems.
