I was wondering why you didn't include the ever so prevalent "teenage boy gets transported into a generic fantasy world where he doesn't have to endure how much of a failure he is" but then I realized it would be pretty hard to identify the specific "game" it is when they're all doing that now.
Face it you stupid fucking weeaboo, there's a ton of shit games with shit plots from both sides but it isn't hard to find a bunch of gems if you actually bother looking or, alternatively, if you don't dismiss everything from the west because there's no waifus in them.

Also no idea why you'd pick a bunch of old games that had very sparse plots in them (the description in the OP image is pretty much exactly what the game gives you in terms of plot) as a measure of good story.

This, their visual designs are fucking 10/10 but they can't do believable characters to save their lives.
