Like one time in the gauntlet story arc he believed his clone brother Kaine to have been killed by Kraven's family, and he got extremely pissed off and stopped cracking jokes. He stopped talking completely and beat Kraven's family within an inch of their lives and literally ripped his wife's face off by placing his hand on her face and using his sticky power to rip it off
