I really wish the fleshed out the gameplay and the character's stats more.
There's some real potential for great multiplayer game here.

1. Change up the stats between the characters, none should be directly better than another of the same race
2. Limit of 1 of the same race on each team, to prevent. Or atleast Wyrms, to prevent the ridiculous

some of the trial talismans fundamentally change how i played each character, and some were just super unappealing.

Fantastic game.
The music was incredible (Korb Tier) and I believe there is 35+ tracks on the OST.
The art style is extremely pleasant to look at for hours.
The story and character really makes you invested in the world itself.
I was narrating the whole game on stream, didn't realize how fucking long the game was though, my throat was rip after the 7th-9th hour.

Would have been nice if it was voiced, but I can see why they didn't do it.

Also online multiplayer would have been amazing.

I think it's a tossup on which game had the best vocal tracks, but I think Pyre easily had the best themes for the different side characters.

There was a very distinctive shift in tone whenever one of the opposing teams showed up.

Tizo, Sir Gilman, and Oralech, and didn't bother with either of the Harpies, and by the time I freed Oralech I had a 95% Chance for the plan to work, the ending mentioned that no blood was spilled that night, if that's what you mean.

I really want to like Pyre, there's nothing about it I inherently dislike, but I just can't commit to it, I play it for a really short time and get bored before I stop to play something else. I loved Bastion, but the same thing happened to me with Transistor, I do like Pyre more then Transistor, it held my attention for longer, but I just don't see myself playing it again. Feels bad because I really like looking at it and the music is stellar as usual, but it just can't hold my attention.

The more I think about the game, the less I like it. I enjoyed my first playthrough and I like the narrative wrapping about the concept of competition and games in general, but it is very poorly written to be considered good.
The game is also very sparse. I think that they should have aimed for a 6 hours campaign with denser content.

I can see why it's not for everyone.

I think the whole concept of being able to lose and face the consequences of it adds a level of tension to things that the last two games didn't have, but if the gameplay doesn't grab you, it doesn't grab you.

I genuinely believe this is why I liked Transistor but haven't been able to play much of Bastion.
Transistor popped up in a part of my life where a lot of what was going on in the game resonated with me personally. Yeah they're pretty situational, but with the perk that makes their saplings bombs they're pretty good, and you can instantly secure orb if you put a sapling on it and use a faster race to snatch it. I've heard some anons say that if you get a feel for Lu's Bough you can dunk pretty consistently with them, too.
