And carrying shitters to getting their shoulders/titles in arenas was funny as fuck . I used to love all the hatemail I'd get for "fucking up the bracket"

The scripting is actually pretty decent, and the tuning is pretty close to what it felt like way back when, maybe a little overtuned. But that could just be because everyone has garbage gear and I'm just remembering tearing through stuff towards the middle -> end of the xpac.

The only thing I dont like is that the people doing arenas (so far, Im only like 1750 or something right now) are reeeeeaaaallly bad. Again, I'm not that high rated at all, but the competition at 1750 seemed a lot higher back in the day than it does on this server, hopefully it gets better at higher ratings. It also only S1, so the meta is going to change quite a bit over the next 6 months to a year as people get better gear and the games slow down considerably

Where am I wrong? Most classes have mobility that you'd expect to be used for retreat as well as chase, so it'd be normal for health kits and ammo to be their primary refueling. Soldier and demo have jumps, and the scout is naturally agile.

Sniping is generally an immobile task so snipers don't really use them. Spies can cloak and disguise so they don't need the mobility to reach them as much. Engineers are guaranteed to be looking for ammo constantly and thus should be encouraged to search them out. Not to mention they have their dispenser for healing.

The pyro... it depends. He can flare jump and airblast jump, but the former is more for vertical scaling and the latter is not readily available. However he does have the powerjack to counteract this. The only classes that outright require the medic are the heavy and the pyro, and we both know how shit they are in current TF2. Both dead without a medic, and both unviable for victory. I don't see much coincidence.
