Victoria III when?
Grand strategy thread.

>Victoria III when?
do you really want them to make that
>>385820079
After Stellaris and HoI4 I'm not sure I want that anymore
>>385820079
The question should be:
Non casual paradox game when?
>>385820364
the spiritmust flow
>>385820079
Is victoria II hard to get into if I only played eu4 and civ 5?
>>385820794
Not really
Victoria 2 is intimidating at first; but it's really not that complicated
Also no prohibitive amounts of DLC, so that's cool.
>>385820163
>>385820364
Why not? There's nothing to lose from getting a new game anyway.
So
Autocrat Mana, Communist Mana and Liberal Mana
start has only 5 pop types (one for each class of society) with all others being added through dlc
Victoria 2 and Darkest Hour are the only games that satisfy my autism. EU4 and HOI4 are full of border gore.
>Can only play Vicky 2 on surface level.
Guess I'm not autistic enough.
>>385820079
Johan already said that it will be a Victoria 3 somewhen, but Wiz said that they only have the capacity to do it when Crusader kings 2 is finished AKA they probably can even start working on vicy 3 in one to three years.
I wouldn't expect it comming out pre 2020
>>385822380
Which is better, Darkest Hour or HoI 3?
I think according to the typical Paradox cycle a Vicky III is next.
CKII
EUIV
HoI IV
Vicky III
Is Hoi4 still "spam infantry + arty with superior firepower to win everything"?
>>385823430
they've nerfed it a bit and increased the AI's intelligence somewhat so you can no longer do stupid things like conquering Germany as Belgium by 1941
>>385823593
is the mass doctirne and grand battle plan worth?
>>385823104
I hope they it least give it a fraction of the treatment they've given Crusader Kings 2 with the expansions and content packs.
>>385823661
nope, even for defensive nations like France grand battle plan isn't worth it
Post your guilty pleasure campaigns
>>385823593
Sounds cool. Did they add any reason to use planes that aren't fighter + strat bomber?
>>385823685
That's how they make their money, of course they will.
CKII and EUIV have had so many fucking expansions, HoI IV recently got one, and I don't know much on Stellaris, I haven't bought it.
>>385823817
CAS is actually useful now, Naval bombers are back to being useless and heavy fighters have a sort of niche role if you're waging war between south american nations
I like Paradox games because they're easy to pirate
>>385823998
Tell me more please.
>>385823998
Is there a scenario where you would want Tactical bombers?
>>385823903
If Paradox could put these in Vicky3, that'd be great
>Civil war/rebellion mechanics more like the American Civil War- instead of sudden pop-up rebels, entire states can secede into independent entities like in CK2; like in real life,
two (or more) versions of the same country can exist with different government types, with each government having core claims on the entire country
>More mechanics and events related to political parties and related paramilitary groups; more comprehensive mechanics portraying threats of fascist or communist take-overs
>In-depth infrastructure mechanics and quality of life quantified by state
>Proxy war mechanics for Great Powers>Genocide and atrocity mechanics and events
Post your autism empires

recent Spain multiplayer campaign
players: spain, serbia, greece, japan
>>385825675
Did you use any mods or cheats for this? What was your base country?
>>385823794
MY EYES
>>385826113
Egypt as a base. HPM, No cheats. I may have save scummed a little at the beginning because it's a bitch to get allies to help you revolt properly. The rest was blowing out little shit countries and colonizing all of the empty space in the Sahara.
