Burst and Deep Crimson were the only good ones anyway. With Versus they completely any story (no matter whether it was good or bad) altogether because "hurr, let's just fight each other because reasons. oh and justice I guess.". Girls Hearts were shit compared to Burst backstories, main stories were shit compared to 3DS timeline, character development was nonexistent (how could it be otherwise - they added too many characters, none of them got any proper amount of screentime, except Yumi I guess), and the combat was never a strong point in SK games (although I did like Burst gameplay).
On the upside, they turned fanservice to the max, not sure if most people would consider that good thing but I like it.

I hate what this series has become and yet I cannot stop buying new entries and get excited everytime something new is announced.

That's a cropped pic of shiki. If I showed you her full frontal torso shot, you'd see that she has only C cups for some reason. The OVA screwed up the bodies as well as the heads. The anime did more to preserve the bodies of the senrans than the OVAs did. I can't post the full frontal nude shots, but all the girls in the OVA had the same undersized tits and torsos. It was advertised in Japan, the west has nothing do with it; the thing is that the supposed spin-offs on Sony consoles simply outsold the games that were supposed to the main games on the 3DS. When SV first launched on Vita in Japan the game sold 100k copies, Marvelous could not believe it a spin-off sold that well (the anime boosted the sales too) while the original 3DS game sould 50k to 60k.

They still kept the system of 3DS having the main titles while other plataforms get the spin-offs, but things never changed, the main titles still sold less than the spin-offs so Marvelous just went and said fuck it, everything but Nintendo will be the home of Senrans from now on.
