There are plenty of games that are fun regardless of your skill level, and even more that you don't have to be amazing at to enjoy. If a game is enjoyable to everyone and it's just as enjoyable as one that requires skill, it's objectively better. It just so happens that most good games are good because they don't have to appeal to a huge audience. But saying that barrier to entry isn't a factor in evaluating games is ridiculous. I love Paradox games but despite them being my favorites I probably wouldn't recommend them to the average person because they are a pain to learn.

They've made an engine for Bohemia over the past 3 years, basically. It's much more efficent and faster/just overall better than the RV engine.
It'll power future ARMA games. So there's that, too.
The thing many people fail to realize is that DayZ is making an engine, which takes alot of time. The engine they've made (which technically is done, they're simply doing gameplay things now, not tech for the engine itself specifically, just gameplay systems and features and stuff) is much more efficent and not garbage. Smooth, fluid, not fucking RV. So that's good!
Among that, basebuilding, ONE (1) helicopter, which is the MH-6 Little Bird.
And a plane. Look up the concepts for the basebuilding if you wanna know what kind of basebuilding.
