Bosses are fucking awful and way too easy. Each one has 2-3 extremely telegraphed attacks

It's a rushed game that makes bosses too easy but tries to counter that by making the gameplay extremely sluggish and annoying.

I've noticed this a lot at /pol/. Obviously the widespread opinion on this game is it's shit. People ask 'is this game not good?' And 10 voices chime in 'nope here's why'. 10 people read those 10 people's comments and they make sense to a degree, so 10 people who played the game and didn't like it now have 10 who didn't and don't like it. It all trickles down a shit stream until they crucify someone who tells you the truth, and that is that it's fun

I don't get it either. It polishes a lot of was dark souls was with no emberz, 4 rings at once, magic is nerfed, less estus abuse, magic restore items, plus it looks better besides lol shitty bg trees

It wasn't as good as DaS or DeS but it didn't deserve the hate. It has the second best DLC in the series.

It has the best hub area, Majula. Dragon Airy and Heide's Tower are fucking beautiful.

Use of lighting is actually more creative than DS1 and DS3 (which just uses "muh candles and grey" aesthetic way too much.)

The biggest flaws are the floaty controls (due to the faster movement) and dull corridor level design being so common.
